He specializes in high-stakes situations where scale, regulation, and execution intersect — including large load interconnection, data center growth strategy, grid modernization, and commercial due diligence. His work spans enterprise operating model redesign, market entry strategy, portfolio risk management, and investor diligence.
Previously, Riz held roles at Bain & Company and Accenture leading engagements for Fortune 500 companies, utilities, and private equity firms across energy and adjacent sectors.
He earned his MBA from Georgia Tech and holds a degree in chemical engineering from Rutgers University. He is based out of Oakland, California.
